Cost: having mattress collected

The exact price of having furniture and other waste collected depends on the amount of waste. This is because our prices are based on truck volume. You can already get an estimate on our prices page.

Finally, it is good to mention that the Waste Collection Service does not operate as a municipal authority. We are a private company and collect your mattress for a fee. We are not a substitute for municipal regulations or the waste disposal centre, but we do offer many advantages over these bodies.

We offer a total solution for anyone who wants to benefit from the convenience of our service and can/will budget for it.

Recycling of mattresses

As of January 1, 2021, one is Required to have old mattresses recycled. From then on, mattresses may no longer be burned. We at Afval Ophaal Dienst collect the mattresses and transport it to our partner who takes care of recycling your old mattress. Many usable materials and raw materials such as metal, textiles, latex and polyurethane are then given a second life.
