About 1.5 million mattresses are thrown away every year. In fact, after 5 to 10 years, it is wise to replace your old mattress. This is not only beneficial for your back, neck and sleeping position, but it prevents your mattress from becoming unsanitary. But once you have purchased a new mattress, what do you do with the old one? You can have those picked up in case you don’t feel like driving to the dump, or don’t want to pay too much for a dumpster rental. We can often be with you within 24 hours.

- Step 1: Schedule an online pickup appointment at your desired day and time
- Step 2: You will receive a confirmation of the pickup appointment by email
- Step 3: Approximately 30 minutes before the appointment you will receive a call with the exact time
- Step 4: We determine the final price on the spot
- Step 5: Do you agree? Then a few moments later you are rid of your garbage
- Step 6: You pay by debit or credit card
Cost: having mattress picked up
From as little as €125 we will come and pick up your old mattress and other waste. The exact price of having furniture and other waste picked up depends on the amount of waste. In fact, our prices are based on truck volume. You can already get an estimate on our prices page.
Finally, it is worth noting that Afval Ophaal Dienst does not operate as a municipal entity. We are a private company and will pick up your mattress for a fee. We are not a substitute for municipal regulations or the environmental district, but we do offer many advantages over these agencies.

Recycling of mattresses
As of January 1, 2021, one is Required to have old mattresses recycled. From then on, mattresses may no longer be burned. We at Afval Ophaal Dienst collect the mattresses and transport it to our partner who takes care of recycling your old mattress. Many usable materials and raw materials such as metal, textiles, latex and polyurethane are then given a second life.

Ik zat enorm omhoog met een grote hoekbank. We kregen een nieuwe bank smiddags. Smorgens was de oude bank nog niet weg, ondanks vele pogingen via marktplaats en kringloop. Rond 10 uur gezocht naar een definitieve oplossing. Ik kwam bij … More deze organisatie terecht. Mailtje gestuurd en binnen enkele uren was de bank opgehaald. Wel prijzig, maar wel zeer snel geregeld. Heel blij mee. Vanwege de prijs 1 ster minder gegeven.

Eergisteren is Bert en zijn collega langs gekomen om mijn 3-zits bank op te halen. Ik kreeg netjes een belletje circa 30 minuten voordat ze kwamen. Helaas was de bank te groot en de deuropening te klein om de bank uit de woning te krijgen. … More Ze hebben van alles geprobeerd, maar helaas. Dus zijn ze zonder bank weggegaan. Ik zou weer contact opnemen zodra de bank in tweeën zou zijn. Dit is, met dank aan de lieve buren, gelukkig vrij snel gelukt. Ik heb toen Bert gebeld of ie nog in de buurt was, maar dat was niet het geval. Hij zou me bellen zodra hij weer thuis was. 's Avonds hebben we weer contact gehad en hij was bereid om de volgende ochtend, op zijn vrije dag(!), alsnog de bank op te halen. Doordat de bank gehalveerd was, is het uiteindelijk wel gelukt de bank in de vrachtwagen te krijgen. Nogmaals complimenten voor beide mannen, maar met name voor Bert voor deze fantastische service!
